Bike Fitting:   $195    Lifetime Adjustments
This process involves making sure the body is in the correct (and comfortable) position for the cyclist. Not everyone can ride in a very aggressive position. Emphasis is placed on current flexibility and accurate body position that includes the legs, knees, feet and arms. Saddle and handlebar position is the foundation to an accurate bike fitting.

Constant feedback from the rider is vital and factors into getting the rider in the most optimum position for the type of riding they will be doing. As cyclists become stronger and/or more flexible, it is very common to change riding positions.  Free adjustments for as long as you own the bike.

Technique (Riding) Evaluation:   $135 per session
This is the best way to improve your overall performance by learning how to achieve the maximum results with the least amount of effort.  The evaluation involves using a floor trainer and the cyclist’s own bicycle and is designed to determine/learn:
a. fundamentals of correct pedaling technique (3 aspects)
b. correct breathing technique
(it DOES make a difference)
c. proper shifting techniques
d. different riding positions (i.e. power, recovery, etc)

Using the floor trainer creates a controlled environment whereby you can learn correct pedaling technique much faster. The same is true for proper shifting and changing riding positions.  The Evaluation includes checking that you and your bike are properly fit.  If a bike fitting is necessary, the Bike Fitting will be discounted to $145 and include free adjustments for as long as you own that bike.

Fitting/Evaluation Combo:   $280    save $50
This simply combines both the Bike Fitting and Technique Evaluation.  Instead of $330 for both services separately, you receive a $50 discount when you schedule them together in the same session.

Bicycle Purchase/Fitting Consultation:   $250
This new consultation was created because of having to tell too many clients that their bicycle didn't fit them; several who had just recently purchased them.  Consultation includes a trip to the bicycle store of your choice and any additional time (either by email or telephone) necessary to insure an accurate purchase.
This service combines all the features of a full Bike Fitting (below)...PLUS the consultation time at the bike shop to ensure the
right purchase!!!  This has become a very popular addition.  Time in store limited to one hour.

One-on-One Coaching:   $75 hr
Now that you have learned the basic techniques from the Initial Evaluation, it’s time to apply them in the real world…..on the road. Your experience level and goals will dictate what the focus will be during One-on-One Coaching sessions and the type of riding environment. Bike handling skills, raised awareness of surroundings and refined cycling technique all come together from this part of coaching to truly make you a complete rider.

Triple 20 Group Ride:   $20
20 miles, 20 cyclists, $20.  This group ride was created to give more cyclists exposure to professional instruction without the 1-on-1 cost.  During the 20 mile ride, you can ask for help with anything cycling.  For example, common issues cyclists have sought help so far include:

~ climbing better                                                ~ learning better shifting techniques

~ using the terrain to your advantage              ~ increasing your confidence on fast descents

~ braking without losing control                     ~ dramatically reduce your recovery time

~ confidence when turning (fast)

Don't upgrade your bike...upgrade your engine...YOU!!!  Learn better riding technique, reduce your effort while dramatically increasing your confidence.  The pace will be conversational and expect this riding session to be approximately 90 minutes.

Group Ride Dynamics Seminar/Ride:   $45

Ever wanted to join a group ride but have not…for whatever reason?  Are you currently participating in group rides but are not really clear about your responsibilities?  Do you know what to look out for to avoid crashes? How do you decide which cyclist is safe enough to ride behind?

This interactive one-hour seminar will be followed by a short group ride, giving you the opportunity to practice and implement these skills in a real-world environment.  You will have the confidence to ride in any group ride, no matter what the skill/riding level is for those who join in.

Topics include:

•how to maintain a steady pace without sudden changes in your momentum

•emergency maneuvers with balance/control

•braking through turns while maintaining your line

•transitioning out of the saddle without losing momentum and avoiding rear end collisions

•learning where the safest places are (and are not) to ride in a group

This Seminar/Ride is currently part of Bike Roswell’s new Education Program, aimed at the goal of them achieving Silver status for Bicycle Friendly Community.

Riding Skills Classes:   $$99 per class                                                                                                   Time remaining to the next Riding Skills classes

Beginner/Intermediate

Taking tips from other riders can be a little risky.  Learn from a cyclist who has ridden almost 100,000 miles, an expert in handling, balance and control as a former motorcycle road racer, bio-mechanics expert as a former professional golfer...and someone who is naturally gifted as a teacher with 25 years experience. You will learn all the major skills needed to dramatically increase your balance, control and handling.  This one-day class is approximately three hours with class sizes from 6 - 10.  Some  topics include:

  1. -starting/stopping on hills    - controlled braking

  2. -balancing drills                   - proper/safe turning

  3. -basic maintenance              - shifting (all terrains)

  4. -riding in side winds            - hands off handlebar drills

  5. -descending safely               - riding a straight line

  6. -how to ride in a group

Remember, you don’t know what you don’t know...

ADVANCED

This class is tailored to dramatically increase your comfort and confidence level while riding on the road.  We take all the fundamentals from the Beginner/Intermediate class and implement them in a group ride environment on the road.  This class will also arm you with tremendous knowledge for maximum safety; for yourself and for those riding next to you.  In other words, you will learn advanced skills to ride offensively and defensively.  As your speed increases and as you ride in faster groups, make sure you are fully prepared; things happen so be prepared with this class.  Some topics include:

  1. -fast recovery                     - braking (fast descents/group rides)

  2. -drafting                             - transitioning out of saddle

‘A’ GROUP / RACER

If you are able to stay with the fast group (a.k.a ‘A‘ Group), make the investment to be as prepared as possible for countless scenarios by attending this class.  You will learn ‘racing type‘ techniques that will probably save you from a future crash.  Since speeds in the A Group are much faster, you have even less time to react safely.  Are you aware...and confident in your ability to react to whatever?

For example, what do you do if someone bumps you or your wheel causing you to lose balance?  How do you stay up in a fast turn when you are cut off?    Do you know what the three climbing positions are...and why?  This class takes offensively and defensively to a whole new level.  Some topics include:

  1. -making contact                   - apexing (advanced cornerning)

  2. -power/endurance                - sprinting (max power)

REMEMBER, just because someone can ride fast DOES NOT make them a great rider; it just makes them fast.  This class teaches you to be BOTH!!!

Riding Skills Classes  Beginner, advanced  & ‘A’ Group/Racer

You can choose from a variety of products and services, ranging from a complete bike fitting to a training program that details daily regiments and strenuous levels.

For the beginner, you may want to learn how to use clipless pedals.  Once you're clipped in, you're committed!!!  So it's important to know how to start, brake and stop safely while staying in control.  Your comfort level may be very low to start but you really want to enjoy riding more than worrying about how or when you are going to fall.

For the advanced or competitive cyclist, you may want to evaluate your overall cycling technique and biomechanics to see if you are riding as efficiently as possible, without wasting unnecessary energy.  Evaluations like this also includes an in depth look at breathing techniques, nutritional intake and hydration.  New cyclists can also take advantage of these types of evaluations and cut their learning curve from years to months!!!

MyCycleCoach.com has developed training routines to address each of these scenarios and much more.  Through a detailed consultation, MyCycleCoach.com can custom design a program to concentrate on any issue that will have you riding more confidently, in control and more efficiently, no matter what the environment or level.
